The Cascade GTX offers waterproof protection with its Gore-Tex membrane lining that is highly breathable, and keeps water from penetrating the boot allowing your feet to stay dry. The roughout leather upper of the boot has a 3D Flex hinge system that provides exceptional lateral flexibility.
A higher ankle support and awesome cushioning in the midsole you can navigate through heinous scree fields with no worry of twising and ankle or bruising the bottom of your feet. An awesome boot for all types of terrain.

Comments about La Sportiva Cascade GTX Hiking Boot (Men's):
These boots are very comfortable and they give great support. I like the way they hug my Achilles which is narrow in the back and it gets wider in the front of the boot. I would consider this boot a mid weight boot in weight but it is stiff enough to feel like a heavy weight boot. It gives great protection if you are walking or backpacking on uneven terrain. This boot was true to size for me. Love the boot!
