Comments about Kelty Gunnison 2.1 Footprint:
Just right for the tent it is designed for - clever attachment design and is light enough that I barely notice that I'm carrying an extra layer of surprisingly tough fabric. The one downfall is that both the fly and the footprint use the same buckle system, and the attachment to the tent is slightly less than perfect. Since the fly only fits on the outer attachment, the footprint must go on the inner, which makes for a slightly less than perfect fit (not taut underneath the tent, but close). Does not seem to impact the effectiveness of the tarp though, as I spent three nights on the AT in stormy weather without ever getting wet!
