Usage Instructions: All KEEN water sandals are machine washable and have been treated with ¿GIS Microbe Shield¿, antimicrobial technology that helps prevent odor, staining and deterioration. KEEN has also taken great care to develop leather uppers that will not crack, shrink or stretch when washed. Even KEEN leather Newport sandals are machine washable. Use a small amount of detergent, wash on gentle cycle and air dry.

I have 5 pairs of these sandals, which are the only sandals I can wear comfortably. If you wear orthotics, as I do, give these a try. The molded footbed offers a lot of support and the upper protects your toes when walking or hiking. Keen has great customer support, as well. They will send replacement laces with installation instructions if your laces stretch out.
Although this shoe was supposed to be the same size as the model that I usually buy, it did not fit my foot.Thankfully I was able to exchange the shoe for a Newport of similar color at the Rock Creek store in Chattanooga. Problem solved.

I have trouble finding comfortable sandals. After a day of everyday walking my feet usually ache. Since I have been wearing my keens I have not had that problem at all.
