I live in the country, so I walk a lot on dirt/gravel roads and through fields. During the Spring, my feet get soaked from the dew and rain on the field grass when I wear regular cross-trainers. So I really wanted a water-proof shoe that was comfortable and up for hiking, walking and running. I tried a pair of Keen Targhee's on to see if they felt right, thought about them and then purchased them through Rock Creek, who had the best price [...]. The shoes run a 1/2 sz small so order a 1/2 size bigger. This is the best shoe, my feet stay dry and they are very comfortable. I will continue to buy this brand and would recommend them to everyone.
