Comments about KEEN Footwear Newport H2 Sandal (Men's) 2009:
I wear my keens for different activities but mainly for boating and it's great because you can get them wet and they dry pretty quickly! They cross as water shoes a lot of the time for me too.

Decent shoe. A bit heavy for a sandal. But the heaviness translates into decent traction.

Comments about KEEN Footwear Newport H2 Sandal (Men's) 2009:
The warmth factor is a pro and a con - I can wear these sandals outside in cooler temps and they are quite comfortable due to the smaller gaps between the fabric. They are not too bad in the hotter weather, although I suspect the Venice H2 is the better candidate.

I purchased these in men's as I am a woman with wide feet and to get the right sizing I went with these. I love them. They are so well made and so comfortable I imagine they will last me for years to come. I also love the great deal I got by purchasing these through Rock Creek.

Comments about KEEN Footwear Newport H2 Sandal (Men's) 2009:
These sandals have done everything that I have asked of them, and did it well. They are all day comfortable whether the time is spent on concrete, trails, creeks, streams, or rivers. They track very well on rock and dirt, and as well as I could expect on mossy rocks in streams.
I have only dealt with two problems so far. First, small objects, such as pebbles, flick up under your foot quite frequently, and can be very difficult to get out without removing the shoe. Secondly, and quite offensive, they really make your feet stink after wearing them for even a short length of time. I have never had a problem with foot odor prior to having these, but after I had them for a few days it got really bad. I now spray some odor destroyers spray foot powder in them each time I go to put them on and this seems to have almost completely fixed the problem. The soles are supposed to be "anti odor", but this is one aspect of the shoe that absolutely does not work.
