Katadyn Micropur Tablets should be a staple in everyone's backpack and emergency kit. Micropur Tablets are the only EPA registered purification tablets on the market and are made to kill viruses, bacteria, cryptosporidium, and giardia. They have almost no taste and are super lightweight and compact, so they won't eat up extra space in your pack. We always recommend bringing these along as backup in case your filter breaks or you drop the clean parts in contaminated water.
