The kit includes a prefilter for cleaning water while it is being pumped, a bottle adapter and a carry bag to keep it clean from dirt or debris. No cleaning needed with its glass fiber technology, so if backpacking or trekking is what you like to do, we suggest carrying this filter for safety and convenience.

You cannot go wrong with this filter. The ease of use and quick attachments make this an ideal filter for any level of outdoors person. Don't be intimidated thinking you never go far enough to need this. You can cut the amount of water weight you usually carry by taking this along on even the day trips and your legs will thank you on the longer treks just make sure a natural water source is nearby. My 9 year old already understands the setup and doesn't have to use excessive force to get it going and she loves to use it.

Very easy to use and one of the lightest filters you can buy. I personally like the way it pumps and I also like that it is a very simple design so it has less of a possibility of something breaking in the field.

This filter is a good choice for beginners, scouts, or if you just prefer a simple way to filter water. Only one moving part, so not alot to break. For longer trips you might look at something with a ceramic filter, which you can clean if you clog it in the field.
