I use this shirt climbing, hiking, running and as my everyday base layer to keep me comfortable in cool to cold condition's. I don't overheat with this shirt and it really is my go to base layer. You can wear this shirt many times before you have to wash it as the Merino doesn't hold odor so great for long back packing trips and travel.
