In 2007 I got my first Icebreaker long-sleeve Crewe 150 and I was so convinced by the quality and performance of merino wool, that shortly the leggings followed. No doubt, they perform in the same way.
I use them for cold winter runs under wind pants, as insulation and for comfort reasons under rain pants. These are awesome for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country-skiing.
As I am a cold sleeper and I always in fear that I will freeze in my sleeping bag, while wearing the Icebreakers clothing I feel safe.

I bought these leggings to wear backpacking in the winter. Not only do they protect my legs from the cold, but are really comfortable to wear, especially under rain pants. I also use them to sleep in, run in, climb in, and under dresses with some boots. The waistband is slightly lower than other brands of merino leggings which appeals to my style more. I love the 150 weight because it feels like silk. They arent too stretchy so getting them on is sometimes a chore, but once on, they hold their shape pretty darn well.
