Triple Crown Bouldering Series registration officially opens for 2011 competition

Well, the title pretty much says it all, yes? Register NOW for the 2011 Triple Crown Bouldering Series competition, presented by Marmot, before it fills up. You can visit http://www.triplecrownbouldering.org/registration.htm to enter.

PLEASE NOTE: THE DATES FOR THIS YEAR’S COMPETITION HAVE CHANGED. Be sure to register early, since the event is going to fill up fast, and PLEASE show up on the correct days! Dates are, as follows:

  • October 1: HOUND EARS
  • October 8: STONE FORT / LRC
  • November 5: HORSE PENS 40

More Big News: This year, Montlake golf course has coordinated with Triple Crown and is planning to close the relevant fairway for the Stone Fort leg of the competition, which means up to 50 classic boulder problems — including Cloud Nine, King Cobra, and the 45 Degree Wall — will be available for the first time. Triple Crown will be the one chance this year that you can climb these problems!

Rock/Creek is a founding sponsor of the Triple Crown Bouldering Series, of course. Want to know more about the Series? Well, that’s an easy problem to fix. Check out http://www.triplecrownbouldering.org/, and definitely watch Andrew Kornylak’s video from the 2009 competition below!
