Rock/Creek and Wild Trails sponsor the Local Hero Project

To kick off the 10-day Spark Arts Festival taking place later this month, the “Local Hero Project” seeks local entries of three-minute-long HD videos featuring local outdoor activities! Rock/Creek and Wild Trails are sponsors of the project; Wild Trails race director Randy Whorton and several Rock/Creek employees are planning to submit entries, as well — we look forward to seeing what the Chattanooga outdoor experience is for you!

Entries must be submitted before 5PM on Friday, April 5. The “mini-mini film festival” itself is at Mellow Mushroom on Broad St, next to The Block and Rock/Creek’s coming soon fifth retail store, at 5PM on Thursday, April 11.

This is NOT a contest — though the promoters hint it may become one in 2014 — but your video will be featured in the “mini-mini film festival” to kick off the Spark Arts Festival.

Rock/Creek, of course, carries GoPro Hero3 HD cameras, mounts and accessories; come see us at 2 North Shore or Hamilton Place and let our staff experts show you how to operate the camera before you buy!
