Introducing the 2013 Rock/Creek Race Team

A new season is here, so it’s time to announce the 2013 Rock/Creek Race Team roster!

This year, our trail running team features 26 runners, both men and women from a variety of backgrounds. Our youngest runner is 23; our oldest is 52. They all share one thing in common: a love for trail running, trail racing and the outdoors.

Some are elite runners, sure to visit the podium nearly every race; some are local legends with hundreds of ultras to their name; some organize their own events and volunteer at ours; some frequently lead local runs or go above-and-beyond to get new runners out there.

Whether you’re at a Salomon Rock/Creek Trail Series race, elsewhere in the Southeast or in the mountains above Leadville, you’ll probably see our athletes with Rock/Creek jerseys and (usually) smiles on their faces.

Patagonia clothing is the primary sponsor of the Rock/Creek Race Team, and our race team runs exclusively in styles from their Patagonia trail running collection. Our Race Team members are hard on gear, and they let us know what they like… and what they don’t! At the end of the day, we’re only interested in selling clothing & footwear that is up for the same challenges you are.

From 100-milers to the local charity 5k, look for members of the Rock/Creek Race Team out on the trail, and don’t be shy about approaching them if you’re looking to get more involved in trail racing or hoping to take your training to the next level. They are ambassadors for both the Rock/Creek brand and the sport of trail running itself.

We’re looking forward to another great year from our team athletes. Good luck, guys!
