Downsizing is a must because the shoe will stretch considerably. This isn't some macho climber speak. If you don't size down, the shoe will quickly become too big and your feet will be sliding around in them.
I went down 1.5 sizes from street size. After about 10 or so sessions, the fit is like a glove.
I have to replace this shoe just about every 1.2 years. This is climbing about 3 times a week in the gym and maybe 10 times a year outside.
I find that resoling these shoes is not a good idea because the shoes are very stretchy and will eventually become too big after a while. I'm fine with it because I really like the performance of the shoe. It doesn't have any zany bells or whistles. Its simply a good, dependable shoe.

I'm a 9.5 size in regular shoes. So I took the advice of the previous reviews to get one size lower, 9; that was a mistake because they were so tight, it was unbearable. I sent them back for 9.5 and they were still tight, but within 3 uses, they'd stretched out and they fit very snug and well right now.

Super comfy yet precise. I love these shoes for indoor bouldering, warming up, and even steep sport routes. The only problem is my sweaty feet, which pretty much make these shoes impossible to edge with after my feet start sweating. But I can get over that, with being able to wear them all day long.

I am thouroughly pleased with this purchase! Not only did RC have an excellent price on the shoe, but they have performed very well for me. So far, they have mostly seen duty in the gym. I have been outside with them once, and they performed very well there too.

This is my favorite pair of climbing shoes I have ever owned. I am on my 6th or 7th pair and I keep coming back for more. They climb super good till they stretch out, then they become great all day shoes and warm-up shoes. Good for beginners to experts.
