Very comfortable out of the box for around town, short hikes (especially in rocky areas.)I wear a 7 and the fit was perfect with medium weight socks.

I would use these shoes for boulder scrambling and as a warm up climbing shoe. I might go up to a full size down if you want to use them for climbing. The C4 rubber is ammazingly sticky! Also comfy enough to wear around town. The orange laces are a great touch, but they also come with grey ones. Overall, super shoes!
