Five Ten
Anasazi Verde Climbing Shoes
Product Number: 7555
Five Ten's Anasazi Verde climbing shoe is a better version, with an impressive heel, nicknamed "magic fingers" due to its phenomenal gripping qualities. The fit and comfort of the Verde were also updated by effectively ridding the shoe of any remaining dead space and now the shoe sports Onyxx, the highest friction, most durable climbing rubber "in the universe", making the shoe's precision and power super detailed. You didn't think Five Ten could make a better shoe than the ones they have now? Well, believe it, because here it is.
- Stealth ONYXX rubber
- Moderately stiff midsole
- Magic fingers heel cup that suctions to your foot
- Lace up for precise fit

Comments about Five Ten Anasazi Verde Climbing Shoes:
This shoe is awesome! Works great in many settings, but the only problem I had is that I made the mistake of buying them at a size equal to my street shoe size, which makes them too big for the most precise action. But the precision is there if sized right!

Comments about Five Ten Anasazi Verde Climbing Shoes:
Great shoe for all around. Great beginner shoe as well. Great all around for bouldering, gym, sport climbing and traditional climbing. Great for all situations. Best of all they do not hurt your feet. The heal may feel like it has too much room but that extra space makes for solid heal hooking because the heal smashes down allowing for more contact between rubber and rock.

Comments about Five Ten Anasazi Verde Climbing Shoes:
I love this shoe. I wear an 11 in the Anasazi VCS and so I ordered these in the 11 as well. Fits like a glove...a very uncomfortable glove, wouldn't have it any other way. Medium stiff midsole, great edging, no need to tie which I like. Really solid shoe, and would recommend to any intermediate/advanced climber.

Comments about Five Ten Anasazi Verde Climbing Shoes:
I really enjoy climbing in these shoes and have for a couple years now. They edge nicely, smear decently (though I size them pretty tight), and heel hook very good as well. They excel on near vertical to moderately (read not super steep) overhanging faces. I wear them in a size 11.5 (street shoe size 13) and find them tight enough to have zero dead space and still surprisingly comfortable. I found them to stretch only about 1/2 size or less and to hold up to abuse decently well (The protective seam covers near the laces shred off semi-quickly from hooking things, but the seams themselves are solid). Overall, a great shoe to have in your arsenal.

Comments about Five Ten Anasazi Verde Climbing Shoes:
I've climbed in La Sportivas, Scarpas and Five Tens. The Five Ten rubber is the best. Just prior to going with the Anazasi Verde I was using the Anazasi velcro. The Verde is a much better fitting shoe--the laces let you dial in the fit. I'm done with the Velcro's (except for bouldering indoors).
