With Five Ten, you get legendary sticky rubber compounds like the world-famous Stealth rubber. Developed by Charles Cole, Five Ten's founder and President, Stealth rubber traces its roots to 1985, when Cole set out to improve the performance of climbing shoes. He wanted to increase the body weight a rubber could bear before the bond broke away from the rock. After several years of researching different climbing rubbers, including plenty of trial and error and a mad scientist's devotion to experimentation, Cole created Stealth.
