Constructed with a protection plate for torsional stability and stone-bruise protection. The protection plate is cut from sheet stock ESS and then co-molded with the mid-sole which allows for natural forefoot flex and eliminates the need for glue. The Stumptown 8.5 Trail Shoe was built for those who want cushioning and stability with the most minimalist of weight and versatility in its performance.  Sporting a one-piece textile upper, the Stumptown 8.5 leaves its footprint to almost nothing while still provide excellent protection and torsional stability while hiking or running.
