The Slap Strap Pro by Eagles Nest Outfitters is their latest strap design only HOOKED up! The "SlapStrap Pro" adjustable hammock suspension system is made from .75 inch tubular webbing. Designed and built for all of our western territory users, where length matters. It features almost 2 extra feet (22 inches to be exact) than our original. When both straps are used properly, the straps can carryup to 400lbs. The SlapStrap Pro is the ultimate hammock accessory for users.
The SlapStrap Pro makes it easy to hang your Eagles Nest Hammock just about anywhere-in your backyard, at your campsite, on a boat, on a deck or wherever your imagination leads you. If you can find two trees or study objects between 10-20 feet apart, you have the perfect anchors.

I got this with my DoubleNest hammock. I used them once and realized what all the other reviewers were talking about. They stretch way more than I expected. It's an easy fix tho if the tree is thin enough to double wrap it. Although they stretch like-no-other, they are incredibly strong (one of them supported me as I tested it by slinging on it by a branch). I would recommend this for novice hammockers, but if I could do it over again I would make my own out of rope and save the money.

I originally made my own webbing straps to save money, but after using a friends slap strap pros (lighter and longer than the regular slap straps... for only $5 more!), I have to admit the weight and convenience of these is very sttractive to me! Very easy to use, but not enough flexibility as far as loops go... I would definitely prefer a few more loops to be added in. I love them though!

I bought these hoping that they would save time and offer more options in spots with fewer trees. The concept is good but the material is flawed. They streched so much that even with two guys getting the hammock to the tightest loop at 6 ft off the ground, I climbed in to sleep starting off 2 feet above the ground and woke up with my rear-end dragging in the leaves. IF you buy them you should pre-strech as much as possible before headed out to the trail.

I use the Slap Straps with my ENO hammock setup for camping. Works great and allows me to setup very quickly anywhere I can find two posts/trees/vehicles.

The SlapStrap Pro's are great! If you have an ENO single/double nest hammock (or ANY hammock), then you really should pick these up. The Pro version is longer than the regular Slap Straps AND the webbing is thinner, but still very strong. They come with a parachute pouch (just like the hammock) that can also be stuffed into the DoubleNest hammock itself, so there is no reason not to keep them together.
Super easy to set up, just thread one end through the loop and pick the desired length, clip in and you're done!
