The DoubleNest Hammock by Eagle's Nest Outfitters is a fully durable, water resistant hammock that can fit, two, three up to four people, or however you decide to pack 400lbs. A great car camping essential, as it packs down to a grapefruit size giving you the ability to take it anywhere and set it up in almost any setting.
These parachute hammocks are constructed of breathable nylon micro fiber for strength and wear resistance, they come completely rigged with high quality locking gate carabineer and strength tested nautical grade line. All ENO hammocks are made from semi-porous, breathable, micro-fibre nylon--rated at 400 lbs and carries a two-year warranty. We suggest never leaving home without it.

This hammock is GREAT! I tried a couple other less expensive versions, but they had cords that got tangled and held half the weight. It's so nice to have the Slap Strap's and be able to pull the hammock out of it's on stuff sack, clip in and relax! You can't go wrong with it; On the trail, at the beach, in your back yard, or even from roof rack to roof rack while car camping. If you have some Slap Straps & this hammock, you have it made!

Comfortable and highly recommend for backyard type of camping. I wouldn't use it for any serious back packing as the hammock with all its necessary components (slap straps, tarp, bugnet) aren't the most seamless hammock sleeping system and can be bulky/heavy compared to others.
I love using it on my front porch or stretched between two trees in my backyard :)

First time we assembled it I was amazed at how fast and easy it went up. About 2 minutes tops. Once it was up though, I spotted a big chunk of 'fuzz' in the center. Turned out to be a hole in the fabric that must have happened during production.
Rock Creek being totally stellar (as always) allowed me to return it and they are sending me a new one (YEA!).
The brief amount of time that I put it together, had it up, and then dissasmbeled it, convinced me that I needed to own one. Preferably without a hole.
Awesome product (aside from the weird glitch), and fabulous customer service :)

I took this with me camping the first night I got it and was a little skeptical about the sleeping arrangement at first. I didnt believe that 2 people could actually fit comfortable in there, but i was so wrong! Its lightweight and with the convenient slap straps we had it put up in 3 minutes and all of our other friends were still putting up their tents while we just sat there. I even use it in the back yard on a sunny day to read in. Good for all purposes, everyone should have one!

This hammock is amazing, super light and durable, plus it is perfect size for me (6' and 200 lb)to sleep in at night and perfect size for me and my girlfriend to relax in during the day. my only thing is the SlapStrap Pro, they stretch. As many other reviewers have said they stretch so much that about 30 minutes after use I have to redo the straps. Other that the hammock itself is great for anything from recreational down by the lake to hanging it permanently in the backyard to taking it backpacking instead of a tent and mattress.

I LOVE IT!! One of the best purchases I made over the holidays. It's perfect for camping trips with friends or just putting it up on my college campus for studying. You don't need to be a camping genius or anything to be able to set it up. The colors say teal/khaki but the khaki is more like a brown which i like even better so I have no complaints!

I use the the hammack when camping, climbing, etc. It is handy because it fits easily in my bag or clipped onto my side. It takes 2-3 minutes of set up which makes it extremely conducive to my lifestyle.

This hammock is super comfortable and fairly easy to set up. However, after backpacking with it for a few days, I would probably consider something else for a true hamoock/backpacking experience. The entire system (hammock, tarp, bug net) takes entirely too long to set up compared to other hammock systems.
Also, with all the necessary components, it weighs almost as much as my 2 man tent.
That being said, I love it for just hangin out in for a few hours outside in my yard, the beach, or even car camping. If you're not a serious back packer and concerned with weight, this is a great hammock to invest in.
