The Race EXP Air Pack by Deuter is a fully versatile pack that is designed for fast paced, or long haul days where you need water and extra storage. Constructed with the Aircomfort back system that is made up of durable spring steel frames that put tension on a mesh backing keeping the pack from coming into direct contact with the user. Moist air can freely escape through the three sided system preventing heat build up and reducing perspiration up to 25%. Additional padding at the shoulder blades and hip increase the carrying comfort. The Race EXP Air also comes with a 3 liter streamer reservoir, stow away helmet holder and an expandable main compartment for extra clothing or gear.

Comments about Deuter Packs Race EXP Air Hydration Pack - Spring:
I use this for commuting purposes, for which I think it is too small (although the ability to expand the bag helps a little). I really like the bag--lightweight, great ventilation, hydration system, included rain cover.
My main problem is the bag is a touch too small. It is really designed to swallow clothes and other larger items, not small accessories you may need while commuting. The small accessory pocket on the front is too small for anything except your keys and a bit of change--a wallet is not easily going to fit--there is only one zipper there as well which can cause a bit of a problem when you remove the bag from one shoulder to quickly search for keys or change. If you put your phone or iPod on top of your clothes or whatever is in the bag you risk the phone or iPod dumping out when you forget it is there thanks to the main zipper being placed at a strange angle on top.
Overall, a great bag, just know what you need it for.
