How to properly clean your Chacos
e are not chemists nor rocket scientists, but we wear our Chacos constantly, and we know what works and what doesn’t. We also believe in helping you maintain your investment to keep your Chacos going for years. Our suggestions are low-impact, safe methods and will not delaminate the rubber, nor cause the webbing to crack or fade.
Chaco Sandals: the unofficial official recovery sandal of the Rock/Creek Race Team
If you’ve seen members of the Rock/Creek Race Team at trail races around the country, you’ve probably seen more than one pair of Chacos, and that’s no accident. Chaco isn’t an official sponsor of our Race Team, but so many of our runners wear Chacos before and after racing that we’re going to go ahead and call them an unofficial one...
Rock/Creek & Chaco Sandals donate $3,000 to plant trees in Chattanooga
The $3,000 will fund the planting of 18 trees in two sections of median on Dallas Road in Chattanooga. The species selected for planting is an American Elm cultivar called “Princeton,” bred for its resistance to Dutch Elm Disease. By selecting the American Elm, we’re re-introducing a native tree to the urban landscape...

The only pair of shoes I wear between March and October are my Chacos. I don't even bother wearing other shoes for my outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and scrambling around rock quarries. The only thing I find a slight nuisance is that every other day I have to move the straps around a lot to get the sand and dirt from off the webbing. If I don't do this then the straps tend to tear after a while. My last pair of Chacos I never adjusted the straps once but they tore after 7 years. I am positive that I can make these last much longer if I continually adjust the straps to clean them from dirt.

Very dissapointed
The straps constantly get out of adjustment. The sandals get loose as you walk with them. They are not easy to get in to.

Comments about Chaco Sandals Z/2 Vibram Unaweep Sandals (Men's):
WoW! My I bought these for my Boyfriend and he absoulutely loves them. He is in the military and after wearing his boots all day the last thing he wants to do anymore is put on another pair of boots to do the chores or even go out to pick up things from the store. He has never once complained and often asks his friends if they've ever tried any.H

Comments about Chaco Sandals Z/2 Vibram Unaweep Sandals (Men's):
Have had 2 other pairs of chacos as well as a new pair of these (edgy color) and they all feel great. The only reason I got new ones was because I wanted a new color. and I put that they feel halfsize bigger is because with chacos you dont really leave room for yourself at the end. Your toes are supposed to come closer to the end unlike shoes where you usually leave half an inch or sumthing like that. For example im a sz. 13 in any shoe but I wear a sz 12 chaco. I was very happy to see that the edgy color ones that I got look dark green instead of a dark grey color like the picture shows. I wear these every where and they always feel as great as when I first purchased them. I sometimes have a tendency to let my heel drag, mostly with my other pair. So after 2 years the heel started waering down, and I followed the directions on chaco's website and I had chaco re-sole them. They did a great job and it was easy to do. Overall great sandals and great company. Something that will last forever.

Comments about Chaco Sandals Z/2 Vibram Unaweep Sandals (Men's):
I have worn my Chacos all most every day for a year and I love them. They are extremely durable and easy to adjust. At first they are hard to keep adjusted, but once they are broken in they stay true. The arch support is strong and wont break down like other sandals I have had in the past, and the unaweep soul provides excellent traction while hiking.

Comments about Chaco Sandals Z/2 Vibram Unaweep Sandals (Men's):
These sandals are great. These were my first pair of chacos and will definatley not be my last. I camp and hike quiet a bit and these sandals are perfect. I wouldn't suggest hiking a long distance in them because the straps may cause blisters if you are not used to them but otherwise these are the best sandals and some of the best footwear i have ever owned.

Comments about Z/2 Vibram Unaweep Sandals (Men's):
These shoes are greeeeeaaaaaaaaaat. They're incredibly comfortable and stay on very well. I've worn them almost every single day over the summer and am rocking some pretty sweet tanlines. Whoop!
The only problem I had was some minor chafing from the straps when I first got them, but it went away within a week.
They're a must buy. Thanks and gig 'em!

Comments about Z/2 Vibram Unaweep Sandals (Men's):
I got these Chacos as a replacement pair for my old chacos that i had for 10 years, and the foot bed is finally wearing out. They are exactly what I expected in the shoe, and love them, justas much as my old ones. I was able to break them in a lot faster than i thought I would be able to.
