I wanted a hydration pack I could use for both mtn. biking and for hiking. This pack has straps on the side that allow me to keep it from getting to big when I'm riding, but also allow me to put in what I need to when I'm also day hiking with the kids. The shock cord on the outside is great for easy access to a jacket or fleece. It's a perfect bag.
