Comments about CamelBak Octane XCT+:
It is hard to find minimal 100oz packs that still have some storage for small things. This pack is perfect for that. However, I used it for running twice and the baffle in the middle of the bladder ripped internally. (no leaks) Since the bladder rides high it really moves around alot, unless you pull the straps tightly and somewhat restrict movement.
I really liked being able to fill the bladder before inserting it into the pack, but found that the pack opening was a bit too large, and contributed to the bladder moving inside while running. (too bad there were no tightening straps to more securely hold the bladder in place internally.
The shoulder straps have no way to secure them, so they dangle and bumped me as I ran. Would have been nice if small velcro tabs had been sewn on to prevent that, like other new Camelbak models have.

Comments about CamelBak Octane XCT+:
It's almost perfect. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a little harder to draw the water out of the reservoir than I was used to. Everything else was awesome. There's a small side pouch that's easily accessible when running where I store my iphone without jingling. I ran a half-marathon with it and barely felt it on my back. Would definitely recommend!
