Comments about Camelbak Delaney Plus Hip Pack (2010 Season):

This is a great pack for running longer distances. I carry a hand held bottle to drink while running and when it is empty I will switch it out for the full bottle on the waist belt. There is storage in the back for a cell phone and keys and cards. There is also storage in the front for easy access to nutrition. I also love the integrated gel flask holder. I use hammer gel Espresso flavor and have found it works best by filling up to the first "knuckle" in the flask with warm water. This makes it come out easier. Otherwise you will have one serving left in the container that won't come out. I also discovered that in order to get the best stability from the pack (i.e. keep it from bouncing) you have to wear it in the small of your back. Not around your hips.

Comments about Camelbak Delaney Plus Hip Pack (2010 Season):

I could never imagine running with a "weight " around my waist. But I got tired of laying out hydration on my 10 to 20 mile training runs so I gave it a shot. I found it to be close to unnoticeable...until I needed it. Not only was it great to have hydration on demand but the extra pockets allowed for carrying music, a cell phone for the first time ever and keys, cash and a map. I can't recommend this highly enough!
