The Blundstone 500 is the original rough, tough Australian boot of legend. The seamless construction of WeatherSealed™ premium leather secured into the direct-injection sole will repel water. The simple "pull-on" style means a snug fit without the use of laces.

This is one of my favorite all time classic boots. The 500 has been around for years and never goes out of style. I wear these almost every day in the winter. Whether I am at work, out in the yard, or running around town, they always look great and are extremely durable. Other than a some character scuffing, the leather uppers are in great shape. I've been very surprised at how well the soles have held up with hardly any wear after a few years' worth of wear and tear. Keep in mind that these are based on Austrailian sizing, so one half to one full size down from your current shoe size will work. My only recommendation with these would be to get different insoles, like Superfeet. The ones that are in the boots do not give much support at all, and I replaced them with some Superfeet Blue trim to fit insoles and they were infinitely more comfortable and took up less space in the boot. Trust me, your feet will thank you!

I bought my first pair in Santa Fe, NM and wore them nearly every day for years. I have flat feet and long toes. My beloved Blundies were the first shoes that kept my long toes warm and dry in the New Mexico snow and rain. And they were great for popping on and off at airport security. After 8 years!, they finally wore out (do not use for gardening), but I was cash-poor and held out another two years before buying a long-desired second pair. I was disappointed that I was unable to find a women's pair (I thought I had a narrower-fit women's), had to buy a men's size, and despite my size-conversion chart use, is slightly too big. But I am too cheap to pay for the return shipment for an exchange. Most of all, the quality of the leather, compared to 10 years ago, is much much poorer (looks and feels like naugahyde). All in all, I am so happy to have warm, dry feet in soggy Portland, OR even if my Blundies are looser and cheaper-looking. Please go back to the GOOD leather!

I've had my pair for 6 years. I wear them several times a week and they still look new. With an occasional touch of boot polish they still draw compliments and they still feel sturdy and solid. Great traction, completely comfortable, great looks. No problems. Can't ask for more.

Bought my first pair of Blundstones in Australia 15 years ago --- and my second pair from Rock Creek last month. It took fifteen years of constant wear for my first pair of Blunnies to wear out. Are they the best or are they the best?

I wear them everywhere, all the time.They look good enough for casual wear about town, and are sturdy enough for rough use, outdoors. I particularly like the design of the soles, which provides good traction, without picking up dog poop and other yard debris to track around.
