The 10.5 Accelerator Rope by Bluewater is considered one of the better all around ropes on the market. Bluewater designed the Accelerator with performance and durability as the most important aspects of the rope. With its 10.5 sized sheath it can run over sharp rocks and take falls over and over without losing its elongation and still have superior handling. Bluewater starts with the finest nylon fiber and processes it from start to finish with their proprietary Duration Thermal Stabilization (DTS). This is a precise technique that puts the nylon under a critical heat treatment that allows them to achieve a better balanced rope with incredible endurance.
Some of the 10.5 ropes are dry treated for ice climbing or mountaineering. The Double-Dry treatment is applied to each individual fiber in the sheath and core allowing just 11% water absorption (compared to the standard 20% - 30%) so your rope remains light and flexible under adverse conditions. Double-Dry also increases rope longevity and is an option on all of the dynamic cords.

I found this to be a great rope. It's the first that I've purchased, not first owned, and I like it a lot. Very smooth through a grigri and lighter weight than I thought it would be. I would buy this rope again.

Very good rope. Friction high on first climbs, but it gets better with time (I will not use this on a climb that will require a fast belaying for the first time using this rope). This rope is very dynamic, which makes it ideal for any type of lead, but could be intimidating when top roping, especially with new climbers or on top rope routes where a lot of stretching can be dangerous.

This rope is amazing! I have only had the chance to use it a few times but it is great. Very durable and smooth handling. Only issue is the weight, but that is expected at 10.5mm. Highly recommended!
