The features are just as advertised.

Comments about Black Diamond Super Chute Rope 25 Bag (2014):

This bag is just what the doctor ordered. I always strive to keep my ropes as clean as possible and this bag does just that. I plan to order at least one more because I plan to store different lengths in different bags. I am a beginning recreational climber . Wob Deggel

Plenty of room for gear too

Comments about Black Diamond Super Chute Rope 25 Bag (2014):

Great for our dirty crags. Love the quick release buckets and seems to be bomber after a few years of use. Like I said, plenty of room for additional gear with a 60 m rope!

Comments about Black Diamond Super Chute Rope 25 Bag (2014):

Spacious enough for my rope with enough room to put a few pieces of climbing equipment in. Would help if there were pockets for that, but not a big miss.

Study construction, funnel shape works great.

Comments about Black Diamond Super Chute Rope 25 Bag (2014):

Study construction, funnel shape works great. When filled with rope, whole thing seems to fit well in backpack as it flattens out a bit. Not like a big lump. Dark color can get hot, keep out of sun if possible, always protect your rope.

This rope bag is amazing. It is a great bag, and the competition to it really do not scratch the surface of this bag.

Comments about Black Diamond Super Chute Rope 25 Bag (2014):

Pitches, it's all about the pitches. I feel inadequate as a climber if I'm not putting in pitch after pitch on a climbing day. Speed of climbing is important, but just as crucial is your ability to manage the little details between climbs. Re-racking gear, stowing shoes and chalk bags, and most importantly, packing up the rope. Now, don't get me wrong, I can coil a rope, and in some instances (multipitch and alpine climbing) throwing a backpack coil on is the best solution. But not out cragging, when you're cragging, you want pitches, and being able to just toss the rope in this back, tie off both ends, roll it up and throw it in the pack save precious daylight for, well, more pitches.

This bag is great. Seems super durable, rope packs small, and the tarp is a real good size. Some people complain about the single strap but I think it's easy and comfortable to carry.
