Comments about Black Diamond Distance Trekking Poles:

I've used other poles before but these are hands down my favorite. I've used these for backpacking trips and they are very light and pack down to one of the smallest sizes for trekking poles. They don't have any shocks in them like some poles but because they are so light I feel they don't really need them. I was worried about not being able to adjust the height on them but I just adjusted my grip and they worked perfectly on uphill and downhill. Using them makes hiking and backpacking easier hands down.

Really like the 'elbow' system to pack these down to size...very quick to 'set up' and break down. Great for fastpacking......
One of the best new pieces of gear that I've seen on the market--
