Comments about Asolo TPS 520 GV Boots (Men's):
A great pair of boots! Previous boots, same model, lasted me 7 years and are still waterproof! They have seen plenty of hikes in the 10000ft range - rocks, gravel, water, mud, bushes, snow, ice, and too much sun and fun!
My feet grew a bit in width so i ordered a wide size and it fit me great!
The only con i can think of is that over time the great looks on these will fade and if you would like to keep them longer better looking is to take care of the leather! YOu can you use Nivea but I covered mine with a thick layer of regular vaseline as it keeps the skin from cracking and darkens the leather to have a prettier look! It helps to fill the cuts from rocks with vaseline, as i found over time that it does make them softer and they dont become brittle with time! The vaseline is absorbed over time!
Oh and dont count on the same laces for the entire life of these boots! They dont hold as much as the boots! But who cares!
And im kidding about the Nivea, but the vaseline does really make a the boot look very close to newish!
Dont forget a reliable flashlight and plenty of CHARGED batteries, and never forget - always bring warm clothes in the summer and food in the winter!

This is my first pair os Asolo boots. I expect that I will be wearing them for quite a while because they appear to be very well made. They feel great right out of the box.

Comments about Asolo TPS 520 GV Boots (Men's):
This is a terrific boot. It is sturdy and solid yet felt great from the first time I put them on. Everything is perfect except the tongue could be a bit stiffer. The laces can be felt through the tongue so it hurts my ankle when they are tied tightly for more support.

Comments about Asolo TPS 520 GV Boots (Men's):
I have owned these boots for years now and they just keep on trekking. They still feel as good as they did from the beginning and I have put them through a lot. From backpacking to caving to kicking a shovel they perform great, give super support and never let any water through the boot.

Comments about Asolo TPS 520 GV Boots (Men's):
I received these boots only days before a major ice storm hit KY and they came in very handy in the slick, wet, and muddy conditions that followed. I've had no problems with the waterproofing on them and they literally required next to no breaking in. I've already had them out on the trails backpacking and they performed excellent there as well. My only complaint is that they're a bit on the heavy side but that is to be somewhat expected with a full leather boot. Overall a great boot and I'll probably be getting another or similar pair for my girlfriend.
