This is my fifth Arcteryx piece. I have always believed in layering but needed a nice insulated jacket.I've had this approximately a month. So far I'm very impressed. I am 6' 175 lbs, athletic build and the large is a perfect fit. This jacket is extremely light but I'm impressed with the weight to warmth ratio. I am more than comfortable in 25 to 30 degree weather with just a baselayer and this jacket.Cannot comment on water shedding ability as of yet since it's been cold but dry weather.Nice seal at the wrist, although I've read other reviews that they may stretch a bit over time. The felt liner at the collar /chin area adds more comfort when temperature drops. The hood is well designed and seals the cold out well. As many have stated Arcteryx is pricey but has been well worth it with every piece I've purchased

I only wear this coat when it is very cold. It is too hot to wear if you do any work.
