The Aquabound Shred carbon shaft paddle features an all new blade shape. With a little help from world champion kayaker Ken Whiting and friends, Aquabound has redesigned the Shred to complement all the changing kayaks on the market. The result is a blade shape with no flutter and lots of power. Not to mention it looks cool.

The Shred Carbon shaft comes with black blades that are made using the same polythalamide material as that found in the white blades on the Shred Aluminum, but they are reinforced with carbon fibres. What does this mean? As with the white blades - tough, but also a little stiffer and lighter. The black blades come with only carbon shafting.
