My son and I have been using the glass AB's for about 6 years or so now and been happy with them, tough paddle good for rock bashing. these carbon AB's are lighter and stiffer, more power. Great combo for running the granite infested ww we thrive on. Real nice balance.

Comments about Aquabound Paddles Edge Carbon Canoe Paddle:
My family has several of these for whitewater paddling and slalom racing, and they are solid paddles. The scoop blade has good 'catch' in the water. These are my favorite paddles for training because of the great durability and because there is some flex to the shaft, which reduces stresses on the shoulders, elbows and wrists.
